Clearing’s music is somewhat difficult to classify but could be said to fall somewhere between post- and math rock. Typically exhibiting angular, layered guitars and a concise and dynamic rhythm section, the band squeeze their strong – and often loud – sounds into what could be described as ‘decentred’ song structures.
